tailed tits cannot be aged accurately once they have completed main moult

Notable captures: The Pied flycatcher is the first of
this species caught during CES .The number of Garden warblers is the highest
total in one year since the CES started.

Additional
net: we put up an additional net on some occasions. These birds are not
included in the CES totals.
