We welcome new members to the Gower Ornithological Society. For your membership you will receive regular correspondence concerning our activities which include online and in-person talks and guided walks around some of the best sites in our recording area (and occasionally outside it) for birds, and a copy of Gower Birds, our long-running high-quality annual report in which any records you submit will feature.

You will also benefit from the knowledge that you are supporting the gathering and documentation of bird population data in Gower, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot as a member of a Society that has been in existence for over sixty years and which continues to make a significant contribution to bird recording in Wales.

ABOUT GIFT AID

Gift Aid Conditions

The person making the donation and or a subscription should be a UK tax payer, paying at least as much income tax and or capital gains tax as the donations he or she makes to all organisations in the tax year.

The member signing the Gift Aid declaration is also named on the account you are using to pay your membership subscription / donation, to enable us to collect the Gift Aid.

If you pay Income Tax at the higher rate, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self-Assessment tax return if you want to receive the additional tax relief due to you.
