I was joined by Heather Coats and Phil Mead for this morning’s ringing session at Margam Park. We supplemented our usual 102 metres of net with a further 36 metres in an attempt to find the optimal net placement within the site.
Despite the extra nets, the bright sunshine contributed somewhat to a diminished catch, however, the appearance of a juvenile Kingfisher and an adult Mistle Thrush went some way toward brightening up an already sunny day.
